logo-tphTORONTO (November 30, 2015) — Yesterday, Toronto Public Health (TPH) presented its report on Pharmacare to the city’s Board of Health stating a national pharmacare program would assist TPH in reducing health inequities and improve health of Toronto’s population. They also noted that a national drug care program would increase access for Torontonians to HPV vaccine, smoking cessation aids, effective birth control and STI treatments.

In addition to the report, TPH presented the city’s Board of Health with a motion asking them to urge the federal government to act.
